Bukola needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
Help Bukola get a stair-climbing aid so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
Anywhere in the world1,041 views
Bukola lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Badagry Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Bukola could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• stair-climbing aid: $510
• Delivery and set-up: $15
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck, Esther. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

Thinking of you and your family, Esther. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in Sukkur but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Badagry.
