Build a wheelchair ramp for Sachini in Colombo
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Colombo.

Sachini has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Sachini can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Sachini's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts. Hope the doctors have good news. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Sending good thoughts. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Los Angeles.
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless
