Build a wheelchair ramp for Pranee in Phuket
Help Pranee regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇹🇭 Phuket, Thailand571 views
Pranee has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Pranee can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Pranee's family will cook lunch for the team.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekend
- format
- In person in Phuket

Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care!
