Build a wheelchair ramp for Mauricio in San Miguel de Tucumán
Mauricio uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Mauricio has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Mauricio can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Mauricio's family will cook lunch for the team.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts, Jimena. Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of San Miguel de Tucumán.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Stay strong, Jimena. Your post was clear and honest.
