Keerthana has used a wheelchair since 2021, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Keerthana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Keerthana's family will cook lunch for the team. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Good luck. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. After 27 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

    • Sending strength, Rajeshwari. Hope you get there. Thinking of Mumbai

      • keep going, Rajeshwari. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
