Bruna's laparoscopic endometriosis surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Bruna needs laparoscopic endometriosis surgery at Maringá University Hospital and the family is $1,900 short of the hospital's estimate.

In April I was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes. My surgeon at Maringá University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for June. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,700, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $1,900 short.
Doctors at Maringá University Hospital told me severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. I work as a security guard, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,700 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a security guard have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to lift anything heavy during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,000
• Physiotherapy sessions: $150
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $530
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $220
Every share and every dollar helps.

Thanks for sharing this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Blessings
Praying for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Kano.
