Brooks lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the New York Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,500.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Brooks could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. specialist standing frame comes first ($6,000) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
