Brooklyn served four years; now needs help to get home
Brooklyn served four years in the marines; $4,950 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served four years in the marines and was discharged in 2025 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,950.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,950 goes:
• Training provider fees: $3,050
• Housing deposit and first month: $860
• Transport to appointments: $450
• Essential household items: $590
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
