Bristol flood relief - Northside village
The flood damaged 27 homes in Northside village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit Northside village on 5 June. My home was one of 27 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $5,550 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,850
• Clean water and purification supplies: $320
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $720
• Food parcels for displaced families: $860
• Tools and labor for repairs: $800
Thank you so much.

Hang in there, Kinsley. More neighborhoods should do this. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Liverpool
looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless
Good luck. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings!
hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 29 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Take care, Kinsley. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Please keep us posted. Love from Philadelphia.
Thinking of you, Kinsley. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Wish I lived closer to Saint-Denis so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
