Brandon's non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Parramatta Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

In March I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. My oncology team at Parramatta Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in June. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 39, I worked as a construction supervisor until March, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Parramatta Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Transport to Parramatta Cancer Centre: $660
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $690
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care, Brandon. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Love from Dwarka.
