Bohdan needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
A fish stall in Dnipro needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a break-in.
Anywhere in the world2,544 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Dnipro. In July, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $850 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $560
• Initial stock: the first catch: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $135
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Bohdan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
thanks for sharing this. Hope the shop reopens soon. Greetings from Caxias do Sul.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from San Antonio.
Thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Bhaktapur this morning
Rooting for you, Bohdan. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Dnipro.
