Bin's ACL reconstruction can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Bin was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Riverside Regional Medical Center recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $8,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $5,950 short.
my husband has been in and out of Riverside Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $8,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Bin struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Bin won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
