Bilal was diagnosed with colon cancer in October. The oncology team at Alexandria University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Bilal is 32, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Alexandria University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,050 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $630 • Scans and lab work: $180 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Transport to Alexandria University Hospital: $135 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
