Bianca's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

I earned a place in Year 10 at Niterói Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $400, which is more than we have. I love design and technology and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $400 goes: • Laptop: $240 • School uniform and shoes: $65 • Textbooks and workbooks: $55 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40 I hope life is good to you. - Bianca
