Berhanu's final semester of a degree in civil engineering in Addis Ababa

Berhanu is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Addis Ababa State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Berhanu can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Berhanu has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Berhanu would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Berhanu isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
