Ben's palate reconstruction surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Ben needs palate reconstruction surgery at Berlin University Hospital and the family is $2,500 short of the hospital's estimate.

Ben was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in July. The surgeon at Berlin University Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,150, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,500 short.
my father has been in and out of Berlin University Hospital since July. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ben struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Ben won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $330
• Physiotherapy sessions: $560
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,350
• Post-operative medication: $260
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
