Beatriz needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
Beatriz lost a freezer and scales to the demolition of the market and needs $1,050 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For four years I have run a fish stall in Santarém. In February, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $80
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $880
• Shop repairs and licensing: $90
Thank you for reading my story.

stay strong, Beatriz. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Santarém
Shared this with my family. After 11 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. Thinking of Santarém.
Wishing you the best, Beatriz. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Wudil.
Hope it all works out, Beatriz. Hope you make a strong comeback. All the best.
