Beatriz needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
Help Beatriz get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so She can speak with the people around her.
🇲🇽 Mexico1,300 views
Beatriz lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Veracruz General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,200.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Beatriz could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $95
• Delivery and set-up: $65
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $2,040
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thinking of you and your family, Alejandro. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Pune
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
