I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Likoni Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450. My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Wanted to say thank you properly. 29% funded and the plan for adapted tricycle is now scheduled.
Quick update: $70 raised so far (16%). the plan for fitting and training sessions is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
