Beata was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Warsaw Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Beata is 52, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Warsaw Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $3,300 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $360 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,500 • Scans and lab work: $440 Ask me anything below before you decide.
