Bayu's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Bayu earned a place in Form 4 at Bogor Science Academy; we're $155 short on required supplies.
🇮🇩 Bogor, West Java, IndonesiaPosted Sep 14, 20261,560 views
Bayu earned a place in Form 4 at Bogor Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $155, which is more than they have.
Bayu loves design and technology and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $155 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $40
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Any update on how things are going in Bogor?
Sending good thoughts, Budi. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My neighbor in Casablanca donated after I showed her your page.
Take care, Budi. Shared this with my family. Blessings.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
What's already covered and what's the $155 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. laptop comes first ($75) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
Take care. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Dhaka.
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Please keep us posted
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Ahmedabad
