Bat-El's prostate cancer treatment fund
Bat-El is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇮🇱 Israel886 views
Bat-El was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December. The oncology team at Tel Aviv University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Bat-El is 42, worked as a bank teller until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tel Aviv University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,200 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $720
Thank you so much.
