Bas received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
After the loss of a second income, Bas is 5 months behind on rent and has a notice to vacate from the landlord.

When the warehouse closed in August, Bas fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $3,450.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are 2 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Bas has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $480
• Rent arrears (5 months): $2,850
• Utilities in arrears: $120
