Mukono
Barasa was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April. The oncology team at Mukono Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Barasa is 40, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mukono Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $550 goes: • Transport to Mukono Regional Medical Center: $120 • Household costs while unable to work: $280 • Scans and lab work: $150 Every share and every dollar helps. - Kimani
