Baobab Park needs a solar-powered water pump - Eman's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $150 for materials.
🇵🇰 Pakistan1,037 views
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 485 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $150 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Permits and inspections: $40
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Savannah!
keep going. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Rooting for you, Eman. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless.
thinking of you, Eman. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 36 people at work
Wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. After 15 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
