Baobab Park needs a covered market stall space - Malathi's neighborhood project
A community-led a covered market stall space at Baobab Park that will serve 174 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 174 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $310
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
