Bambang's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Bambang needs knee replacement surgery at Surakarta Orthopedic Institute and the family is $950 short of the hospital's estimate.

Bambang was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in July. The surgeon at Surakarta Orthopedic Institute recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,350, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $950 short.
my son has been in and out of Surakarta Orthopedic Institute since July. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Bambang struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Bambang won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $85
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $390
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $350
