Balaji's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Balaji is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Balaji was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in April. The oncology team at Pune University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Balaji is 34, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Pune University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Pune University Hospital: $70
• Scans and lab work: $125
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $40
• Household costs while unable to work: $365
