Badagry erosion collapse relief - the Orchard neighborhood
After the erosion collapse, families in the Orchard neighborhood need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The erosion collapse hit the Orchard neighborhood on 17 May. My home was one of 16 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $600 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $250
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $115
• Clean water and purification supplies: $85
• Food parcels for displaced families: $150
If you're reading this, thank you.

Wanted to say thank you properly. 101% funded and the plan for food parcels for displaced families is now scheduled.
Update from Badagry: I made the first payment toward clean water and purification supplies. We're at 86% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
