Back-to-school fund for Zoe
Zoe won a place at Miami Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Miami, Florida, United States771 views
Zoe earned a place in Year 11 at Miami Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $500, which is more than they have.
Zoe loves chemistry and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $500 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $300
• School uniform and shoes: $130
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Zoe.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. textbooks and workbooks comes first ($300) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for asking.
Rooting for you, Henry. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
