Back-to-school fund for Wirat
Wirat won a place at Bangkok Technical College but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Wirat earned a place in Form 4 at Bangkok Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $300, which is more than they have.
Wirat loves robotics and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $185
• School uniform and shoes: $40
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wirat.
It's all in the list in the story. laptop is the big one at $185, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
So sorry you're going through this, Boonmee. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
