Back-to-school fund for Wayne
Wayne earned a place in Grade 9 at the Rochester Selective School; we're $1,050 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at the Rochester Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,050, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Laptop: $570
• School uniform and shoes: $115
• Textbooks and workbooks: $310
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.

Best of luck, Wayne. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
Sending good thoughts, Wayne. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
you're not alone, Wayne. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
You're not alone, Wayne. This could happen to any of us.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning.
