Back-to-school fund for Wafula
Wafula won a place at Dar es Salaam Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Wafula earned a place in Year 10 at Dar es Salaam Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $155, which is more than they have.
Wafula loves graphic design and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $155 goes:
• Laptop: $95
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
