Back-to-school fund for Todd
Todd earned a place in Form 4 at the Vancouver Selective School; we're $1,000 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Form 4 at the Vancouver Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,000, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Laptop: $420
• School uniform and shoes: $220
• Textbooks and workbooks: $280
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Todd
Good news. Because of your gifts ($196 in total) I made the first payment toward school uniform and shoes. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 10% now ($97). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for laptop is now scheduled. - Todd
