Back-to-school fund for Tariq
Tariq won a place at Marrakesh Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Marrakesh Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $115
• School uniform and shoes: $40
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Take care
Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Kharkiv this morning. Greetings from Kharkiv.
Best of luck, Tariq. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Manila
Hang in there. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Marrakesh.
Hope things get better soon, Tariq. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.
