I earned a place in Year 11 at Jakarta Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $110, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $110 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Laptop: $85
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone, Slamet. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Üsküdar.
