Back-to-school fund for Shefali
Shefali won a place at Savar Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Savar Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Laptop: $75
Glad we found this place.
