Gwangju
I earned a place in Year 10 at Gwangju Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $650, which is more than we have. I love robotics and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $650 goes: • Laptop: $330 • School uniform and shoes: $115 • Textbooks and workbooks: $135 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70 With deep gratitude, Seung-hyun
