Selamawit earned a place in Form 4 at Addis Ababa Technical College; we're $105 short on required supplies.

Selamawit earned a place in Form 4 at Addis Ababa Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $105, which is more than they have.
Selamawit loves coding and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $105 goes:
• Laptop: $80
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thank you all. We're at 67% now ($70). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Update from Addis Ababa: I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag. We're at 29% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

keep going, Tizita. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
Good luck, Tizita. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
