Back-to-school fund for Ruth
Ruth won a place at Bahir Dar Boys' High School but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Ruth earned a place in the first year of senior school at Bahir Dar Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Ruth loves chemistry and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thinking of you and your family, Hiwot. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Reims.
Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out
I hope things turn around soon. After 23 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
