I earned a place in Grade 9 at Xalapa International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $210, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $210 goes:
• Laptop: $100
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.

what's already covered and what's the $210 for?
Sure. The biggest one is laptop, $100. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
Hope things get better soon. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Best of luck. Study hard! I hope June is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Xalapa.
hope it all works out, Rubén. I hope things turn around soon.
