I earned a place in Form 4 at Mumbai Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rekha.
Laptop is $75 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
