Back-to-school fund for Rachel

Rachel earned a place in Year 11 at Manchester Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have. Rachel loves graphic design and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $950 goes: • Laptop: $630 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80 • Textbooks and workbooks: $240 Thank you for reading my story.
