Back-to-school fund for Nkechi
Nkechi earned a place in Grade 9 at Lagos International School; we're $150 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Lagos International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• Laptop: $95
• School uniform and shoes: $45
Thank you so much.

Praying for you. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
is calculator, stationery and a school bag the biggest cost or is there more coming?
It's all in the list in the story. calculator, stationery and a school bag is the big one at $10, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for asking.
Good luck, Nkechi. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings.

Keep going, Nkechi. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours.
How is Nkechi doing now?
Best of luck, Nkechi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Rajkot.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
Praying for you, Nkechi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Nkechi. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Los Angeles.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
