Back-to-school fund for Nicolas
Nicolas won a place at Vancouver Technical College but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Nicolas earned a place in Year 10 at Vancouver Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $1,100, which is more than they have.
Nicolas loves biology and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Laptop: $560
• School uniform and shoes: $210
• Textbooks and workbooks: $250
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
Glad we found this place.
