Back-to-school fund for Nicholas
Nicholas won a place at Charlotte Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Charlotte Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $900, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $410
• School uniform and shoes: $165
• Textbooks and workbooks: $210
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $115
With deep gratitude,
Nicholas
