Mekonnen earned a place in the first year of senior school at Adama Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Mekonnen loves design and technology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
