Back-to-school fund for Mauricio
Help Mauricio begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world448 views
Mauricio earned a place in Grade 9 at Bogotá International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Mauricio loves mathematics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
• School uniform and shoes: $45
• Laptop: $125
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

thinking of you, Laura. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Love from Dhaka.
Sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Bogotá D.C.. I'll ask around and let you know.
can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Bogotá

Stay strong, Laura. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Duluth so I could bring a meal
