Back-to-school fund for Maryam
Help Maryam begin Year 11 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇵🇰 Pakistan602 views
Maryam earned a place in Year 11 at Gujranwala Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $105, which is more than they have.
Maryam loves graphic design and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $105 goes:
• Laptop: $55
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $15
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Sumbal
Quick update: $67 raised so far (64%). I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Update from Gujranwala: the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled. We're at 19% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) the plan for calculator, stationery and a school bag is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Wishing you peace, Sumbal. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope March is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Keep going, Sumbal. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care!
So sorry you're going through this, Sumbal. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 37 people at work.
Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless!
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Greetings from Hubballi.
