Back-to-school fund for Madelyn
Madelyn won a place at Sheffield International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom2,035 views
Madelyn earned a place in the first year of senior school at Sheffield International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Madelyn loves biology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $420
• School uniform and shoes: $210
• Textbooks and workbooks: $210
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $60
With deep gratitude,
Andrew

Rooting for you, Andrew. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
